This is a simple card but I like how adding the burlap added that missing something to the card.

SpencersGardenLMM

Ball Point Pen

2014-09-01 11.22.48wmMiCbanner

Do you believe it? Well, over at Make it Crafty our challenge from Zoe was to color using Biros (ball point pens). Phew….what a task.

At first I thought ooh this will be interesting and fun ....

then I thought oh my this is a little more difficult than I thought and ....

then man, these will not blend like my Copics and ....

finally I just can't make it look like I want so go with what I can do

All in all it was a fun challenge and did push me in a direction I had not gone before. I think I will be trying this technique again at some point.

This is my finished card …. and believe me this is not the first try! I used Vamper and a variety of ball point pens I had.

2014-09-01 11.22.48wmMiC

There are some fabulous artists out there that just have a knack with stuff like this.

There are still a few days left to enter our challenge so come on over to the store gallery and join us.

Remember, it will never be perfect but it sure is fun!

Thank you so Much Simon Says Stamps xx

This is my card. I seem to be on a red kick but it is so fun to color with, I just love how the reds blend so nicely and really pop out the image. I decided to try a little bit of different shading behind my image to make Tilda pop, still need a little practice but I like how it turned out.

Hello Kit

2014-10-02 19.42.07

Kit is an image from Saturated Canary. In the Saturated Canary FB group there is a GDT call going on and this is my entry for that.

2014-10-02 19.42.07

I love these images … these are some of my first digitals. They are so fun to color. Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts, the frame, heart and key are chipboard die cuts from Make it Crafty, and ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Here is a close up

Biro …..

2014-09-01 11.22.48wmMiC

What’s that you say? Well, Biro is Ball Point pens and that is the latest challenge at Make it Crafty. So, we want to see a project that you have colored with ball point pens or a medium you are unfamiliar with.

2014-09-01 11.22.48wmMiC

This is my project. I used Vamper Voodoo, I wanted an image I could color that would be OK without flesh colored skin.

Here is a close up.

2014-08-23 15.38.27wmMiC

This was a fun challenge and also a lot different than coloring with Copics. I will tell you that you really need to go check out the FANTASTIC projects that the DT have done, you really won’t believe that they were done with Ball Point pens! You can see them here.

Thanks again for stopping by, I enjoy your visits!
